Morocco - a country for
the adventurous 4X4 / UTV / ATV driver. An unspoilt land of amazing
contrasts magnificent mountains, forests, oasis, and desert landscapes.
Join us for an unforgetable
adventure and drive your 4X4 / UTV / ATV from the Mediterranean
to the Sahara on some of the Dakar pistes.
Our
exciting route takes us through the incredible valleys, gorges, and high passes
of the Middle Atlas, Jbel Sarhro,
and High Atlas Mountains to Erg Chebbi on the fringes
of the Sahara. Erg Chebbi is Morocco's highest dune. 
We
pass through Berber villages and witness a way of life unchanged for centuries. We
take the time to visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait BenHaddou - the magnificent
village of kasbahs on a mountainside made famous by many classic films. 
Our
route back to Tangier takes us along the high desert plains over the High Atlas
to the Imperial city of Marrakech. 
A
typical day starts at 8am and we reach our destination around 4pm. We
stay in hotels and auberges throughout. All rooms are ensuite with showers. All
your breakfasts and dinners are included.
On
all our 4x4 / UTV / ATV adventures we travel in loose formation
at a gentle pace. "Dakar" style driving is NOT endorsed
on our tours.
Your
vehicle must be in good working order prior to the start of the tour. Offroad
driving experience is NOT essential.
You
may trailer your UTV/ATV into Morocco. We have safe storage for
your trailer and vehicle while you are on tour.

The pistes in Morocco are always changing due to weather and upgrading
in many areas.
What might have been suitable to travel a month ago may be totally
washed out and impassable today.
With our intimate knowledge and experience of the mountains/desert
pistes over 25 years we are able to adapt our routes to suit changing
conditions.
Wildcat Adventures reserves the right to alter the route based
on weather & piste conditions, and experience of the group

Day
1 - Tarifa southern Spain
Meet at our hotel near Tarifa, Southern Spain at 19:00hrs for
a tour briefing and introductions.

Day
2 - Into Africa - Middle Atlas Mountains
Our adventure starts with
a short ferry to Morocco and a drive down the Atlantic Coast. Moving southeast
we pass through the Imperial city of Meknes to our quiet village in the cedar
forests of the Middle Atlas. Enroute we have the opportunity to visit the Roman
site of Volubilis.

to the best offroad driving quickly)
Day 3 - High Atlas Plateau
Our
day starts with a great drive through the cedar forests of the Middle Atlas with
the odd barbery ape swinging in the trees. Continuing south on asphalt mountain
roads we finish our day with a spectacular offroad section through rugged mountains
terrain.

4- High Atlas Mountains
A great adventurous drive through the magnificent
High Atlas mountains. We pass through numerous berber villages enabling us to
observe the Berber way of life unchanged for centuries. Our route alternates between
surfaced and unsurfaced (piste) roads over some of the highest and most remote
passes in Morocco.

5- Jbel Sarhro - Day out or REST
An unforgettable drive through the
volcanic mountains and gorges of the Jbel Sarhro. A great combination of road
and offroad driving in this wild rugged area. Enroute we visit the famous Todra
gorge.

6- High Atlas / Sahara
Today's route is an incredible one through
a series of deep hidden canyons where we exit onto the high desert
plains. We continue south to finish on desert pistes alongside
the great Erg Chebbi - the highest dune in Morocco

7- High Desert plains
A classic high desert plains route along the
southern edge of the Jbel Ougnat mountains. After lunch we follow the trails of
the nomads on small pistes through remote villages and palmeries.

8- Dakar Piste / Desert oasis
A challenging drive through classic desert
landscapes on variable surfaces. We travel on some of the original Paris-Dakar

9 - Draa Valley
A rollercoaster drive on the pistes of the Dra Valley
through the largest palmeries in Morocco. time to explore an ancient kasbah before
crossing the Jbel Sarhro to our magnificent kasbah overlooking the High Atlas.

11- Tichka pass - Marrakech
We traverse the High Atlas Mountains over the Tizi-n-tichka pass
- one of the most beautiful circuits in the world to the imperial
city of Marrakech. You
will have the late afternoon to relax by the pool or explore the
city.
After dinner you may visit the unforgettable Djemma el Fna square
with its numerous stalls, jugglers, story tellers, and snake charmers.
