hotels now insist on a twin room payment
even for single occupancy. Wildcat have in the past absorbed part
of the cost of a single room but we have had to increase the single

Morocco - a country for
the adventurous 4X4 / UTV / ATV driver. An unspoilt land of amazing
contrasts magnificent mountains, forests, oasis, and desert landscapes.
Our exciting route takes
us through the spectacular gorges and valleys of the Anti Atlas,
and Jbel Bani Mountains to cross the wild remote Dakar pistes and
dunes to Erg Chebbi (Morocco's highest dune) on the fringe of the
northern Sahara desert.
This
challenging route continues through the gorges and high passes of
the High Atlas to the Land of a Thousand Kasbahs and Valley of the
Roses.
The
final day is a fantastic combination of canyons, river beds and
high desert plains on Dakar pistes passing by the
World UNESCO site of Ait BenHaddou to finish at our Kasbah near
Ouarzazate.
Our route back to Tangier
takes us over the Tichka Pass in the High Atlas to the Imperial
city of Marrakech, and the autoroute north to Tangier.
A typical
day starts at 8am and we reach our destination around 4pm.
We stay in traditional kasbahs, hotels,
and auberges throughout. Most rooms are ensuite with showers. All
your breakfasts and dinners are included.
On
all our 4x4 / UTV / ATV adventures we travel in loose formation
at a moderate pace. Clients may wish to form small groups and ride
independantly. "Dakar" style driving is NOT endorsed on
our tours.
Your
vehicle must be in good working order prior to the start of the
tour. Offroad driving experience is NOT essential but recommended.
We
advise you to trailer your UTV/ATV into Morocco to the offroad start
point at our kasbah near Ouarzazate. We have safe storage for your
trailer and vehicle while you are on tour.

This
route has been designed specifically for
UTV/ATV (Side-by-side, Quad) and 4X4 vehicles
90% Pistes/Trails (sand, rock, hamada, hardpacked, & dry river
beds)
10% Surfaced Roads (tarmac surface)

today gone tomorrow"
The pistes in Morocco are always changing due
to weather and upgrading in many areas. What might have been suitable
to travel a month ago may be totally washed out and impassable
today. With our intimate knowledge and experience of the mountains/desert
pistes over 25 years we are able to adapt our routes to suit changing
conditions. Wildcat Adventures reserves the right to alter the
route based on weather & piste conditions & experience
of the group
Day
1 - Tarifa southern Spain
Meet at our hotel near Tarifa, Southern Spain at 19:00hrs for
a tour briefing and introductions.
Overnight in hotel with private parking.

accommodation including ferry options pre/post tour)
Day 2 - Into Africa - Marrakech
Our adventure starts with a short ferry hop to Morocco and a drive
on motorway down the Atlantic Coast and inland to Marrakech.
Breakfast & dinner included.
Overnight in hotel with private parking.
Day 3 - Marrakech to Ouarzazate
We drive south with our vehicles and trailers to the High Atlas
Mountains to cross the spectacular Tichka Pass.
Our
Kasbah near Ouarzazate is Wildcat Adventures' base in the south
of the Atlas Mountains and is the start point for our offroad
riding/driving.
There
is excellent and safe parking within the walls of the Kasbah -
clients' vehicles and trailers are to be left here for the duration
of the tour.

Day
4- The Safran Trail
The offroad riding on our Wildcat Challenge starts today.
A great adventurous drive by the Jbel Siroua into the heart of
the Anti Atlas Mountains. We pass through remote Berber villages
and observe the Berber way of life unchanged for centuries. Our
destination is a superb mountain auberge high above a remote canyon
system overlooking a magnificent palmery.

Day
5- Desert Oasis - Cheggaga Dunes
We continue to follow our deep canyon system. Our trail winds
in and out of the river bed to exit onto the desert plains. Our
desert piste takes us to our overnight oasis in the dunes.

Overnight in desert camp. (Berber tent, mattress, bedding, and
traditional Berber food are all included)
Day
6- Nomad Trail
A classic Dakar Rally desert piste winding
in and out of the dunes crossing the high plains with mountains
to the north and the Algerian border behind the mountains to the
south. Crossing the Jbel Bani we descend to our desert town in
the Draa Valley.
This
afternoon we will have an opportunity to service vehicles.

7- Dakar Piste
We start on our longest stretch of Dakar piste through classic
desert landscapes, dunes, hamada, small oasis, ancient forts,
and nomad camps. Our night is spent in a tranquil setting in the
dunes to enjoy the desert sky and sunset.

traditional Berber food are all included)
Day
8- The Road of (Dinosaur) Bones & Morocco's highest dune
Another great day following a Dakar piste crossing river beds
and alluvial plains travelling on sandy/rocky pistes to Merzouga
- lying at the foot of Erg Chebbi. Our day finishes with a drive
north through the dunes to our luxury hotel near Erfoud.

9 - High Atlas Canyons
A short dash across the desert plains to enter an incredible gorge
system which carves its way into the heart of the High Atlas Mountains.
A day of water splashes, deep canyons, and small villages with
patchwork fields and date palmeries.

10 - Land of a Thousand Kasbahs
A morning to service vehicles and rest then its over a
high pass linking the two most famous gorges in Morocco (Todra
& Dades Gorges). Stunning scenery throughout as we ride down
the Dades Gorge to our luxury hotel on the high plains.

11 - High Plains Drifter
We drive west over the plains below the towering High Atlas
Mountains. Exciting trails negotiating deep chasms and river beds
and finally the straight run along the plateau to arrive in the
World UNESCO site of Ait BenHaddou - film set of "Gladiator"
and many other movies.
Breakfast

12- Tichka pass - Marrakech
This morning clients load their ATV/UTV onto their trailers ready
for the transfer over the High Atlas to Marrakech.
We
traverse the High Atlas Mountains over the Tizi-n-tichka pass
- one of the most beautiful circuits in the world to the imperial
city of Marrakech. You
will have the late afternoon to relax by the pool or explore the
city.
After dinner you may visit the unforgettable Djemma el Fna square
with its numerous stalls, jugglers, story tellers, and snake charmers.
A sight unchanged for centuries.

Day 13- Marrakech

14 - Out of Africa
